Yellow Zucchini

Zucchini is a summer squash which can reach nearly a meter in length, but which is usually harvested at half that size or less. Yellow zucchini is an offshoot of the typical green zucchini. It looks similar, but tastes a little sweeter (making it popular in the summer for recipes) (Wikipedia, nd).

Allergy Alert:

Although uncommon, allergic reactions to yellow zucchini can still occur. If you are allergic to regular green zucchini, it would be wise to avoid yellow zucchini as well. In the event of an allergic reaction after ingesting yellow zucchini, contact your allergist. 

Common Uses:

Yellow zucchini is enjoyable by itself, or mixed into a recipe! It is popular grilled and seasoned, served alongside a dish. It can also be a vibrant addition to a stir fry.
